Law No 25,292. Amendment. Sanctioned: December 17, 2014 Enacted: January 19, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1 °-From the entry into force of this law, the national courts in the economic penalty will have, together with the material and territorial jurisdiction that they currently possess, the one attributed to the national courts in the penal tax. The national courts in the field of taxation created by Article 3 of Law 25.292, which are currently referred to as numbers 1, 2 and 3, will be transformed into the national courts of economic penalty numbers 9, 10 and 11, respectively, with the same competence and structure as the latter. To this end, the charges set out in the Annex which form part of this Law are created.

Article 2-It will be the responsibility of the prosecutors in the economic penalty, in addition to the one they currently have, the one attributed to the prosecution in the tax penalty, created by Article 6 of Law 25,292. The national procuratorates in the tax penalty, which are currently denominated in numbers 1, 2 and 3, will be transformed into the national procuratorates in the economic penalty numbers 9, 10 and 11, with identical competition and structure as the latter.

ARTICLE 3-The official public defense office before the national courts in the tax penalty created by Article 9 ° of Law 25.292, will be called Public Defender No. 3 before the courts and the National Chamber of Appeals in the Criminal Court. Economic and will have, together with its current competence, the one attributed to the official public defenders before the courts and the National Chamber of Appeals in the Economic Criminal.

ARTICLE 4 °-The causes currently established in each court will continue its processing in these until its completion.

ARTICLE 5-Substitute Article 19 of Law 24,050 and its amendments by the following: ' Article 19: The National Chamber of Appeals in the Economic Criminal Court shall be a court of justice in respect of the decisions of national judges in the (a) economic penalty, as well as competition issues and complaint resources at the time of delay or refused by the same judges. It will be divided into two (2) rooms with three (3) members each. '

Article 6-Substitute Article 25 of Law 24,050 and its amendments by the following: ' Article 25: The national courts in the economic penalty shall be charged with the investigation of the crimes that correspond to their current jurisdiction. material, including those provided for in law 24.769 and its amendments. ARTICLE 7-Repeal Articles 13a and 25a of Law 24,050 and its amendments.

ARTICLE 8-Repeal point (o) of Article 32 (8) of Decree Law 1.285/58.

ARTICLE 9-Substitute Article 64 of Law 24.121 and its modifications by the following: ' Article 64: The National Chamber of Appeals in the Economic Criminal of the Federal Capital will be renamed the National Chamber of Appeals in the Criminal Economic and composed of two (2) rooms integrated by three (3) judges each. '

ARTICLE 10. -Any normative reference in which the national courts are mentioned in the tax penalty should be considered, from the entry into force of this law, referred to the national courts in the economic penalty.

ARTICLE 11. -The National Chamber of Appeal in the Economic and other competent judicial bodies shall, within a period of not more than six (6) months, take the necessary measures to enable the provisions of Articles 1, 2 and 3 to be put in place. of this law.
