Law 27.117

National Day of the Mate. Sanctioned: December 17, 2014 Enacted in Fact: January 20, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-Institutional on the 30th of November of each year as National Day of the Mate, in commemoration of the birth of Andrés Guacurari and Artigas, in order to promote the permanent recognition of our customs.

Article 2-The date mentioned in article 1 of this law is incorporated into the calendar of acts and commemorations and the national executive branch will carry out the widest dissemination of the celebration, through the mechanisms of communication official.

Article 3-Invite the provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to adhere to this law, generating in the field of their respective jurisdictions the widest dissemination to the celebration.

ARTICLE 4-Contact the Executive Branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, AT THE SEVENTEENTH DAY OF DECEMBER OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND FOURTEEN.
