Establishment and establishment of establishments for the establishment of a Packaging System in Origin of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis in the production region. Sanctioned: December 17, 2014 Enacted in Fact: January 20, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Object. The purpose of this law is to promote the establishment and establishment of the establishments necessary for the establishment of a Packaging System in Origin of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis in the production region.

ARTICLE 2 °-Definitions. For the purposes of this Law: • "Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis": to the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis ground or canted, green leaf, prepared with or without stick, in saquitos, soluble, composed and/or mixed with other herbs, fruits, essences or flavorings; intended for consumption within the national territory or for export. • 'producing region' means the provinces of Corrientes and Misiones, in whose territories the plantations of Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis are physically concentrated. • "Packaging" means all the necessary steps to be able to preserve and preserve the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis of all the hazards posed by the different pathogens for human consumption. Such packaging or packaging shall be individually, size, weight and format approved by the food authority and competent bromoology. • "Packaging in origin of the Yerba Mate": to the completion of all the steps necessary for the packaging of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis within the region where the same has been produced, and may be elaborated and packaged in any of the the two producing provinces indistinct. • "Designation of Origin of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis": in the name of a region, province, department, district, locality or area of duly registered national territory which serves to designate a product originating from them and whose qualities or characteristics are solely or essentially due to the geographical environment, including natural factors and human factors. Inter-provincial transfers of Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis, in any of its forms, within the production region are permitted.

ARTICLE 3-The provincial states of the producing region may authorise the placing on the market in bulk when the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis milled or canted is intended for export, but the latter may not be subject to a new fractionation or packaging outside the production region

until you reach your final destination abroad. In addition, bulk marketing and its splitting or packaging outside the production region shall be permitted where the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis is intended to be mixed with other herbs, fruits, essences or flavorings on plantations located outside the producing region, provided that such herbs, fruits, essences or flavorings represent at least 30% (30%) of the final product, intended for consumption or for export. ARTICLE 4 °-Beneficiaries. They shall be beneficiaries of this law: (a) natural and/or legal persons located in the production region of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis, carrying out the process of packaging the same, submitting projects to modernise the facilities; natural and/or legal entities operating in the production of Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis in the production region, and which present projects for the development of the activities related to the packaging of the same; and/or legal entities submitting projects for the production of the production region of the Yerba Maté or Ilex Paraguariensis to carry out the process of packaging the same; d) natural and/or legal persons who, in other jurisdictions, submit a draft of a reorganization to be located in the region of origin of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis to carry out the process of packaging the same; e) Entrepreneurs with a project to create a new company or venture to develop the packaging activity of the Yerba Mate in Origin.

ARTICLE 5-Registration. Create the National Register of Promotion of Packaging in Origin, for the purposes of the registration and follow up of the natural and legal persons approved by the implementing authority to be beneficiaries of this law. ARTICLE 6-Benefits. ARTICLE 8 °-Authority of application. The National Institute of the Yerba Mate (INYM) will be implementing authority in conjunction with the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance of the Nation.

ARTICLE 9 °-From the sanction of this law the new establishments dedicated to the fractionation and packaging of the Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis for consumption must be carried out

exclusively within the production region. The companies that currently have plants of Yerba Mate or Ilex Paraguariensis outside the production region, will have sixty (60) months from the sanction of this law to root their respective plants within the region. producer. ARTICLE 10. -Invite the provinces that make up the producing region to adhere to this law by issuing similar rules to the present law.

ARTICLE 11. -The national executive branch will dictate the regulatory decree referred to in the provisions of this law, within the period of one hundred and eighty (180) days since its publication in the Official Gazette.
