Create Federal Appeals Chamber with seat in the City of Commander Luis Piedra Buena, Santa Cruz Province. Sanctioned: June 10, 2015 Enacted: June 17, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Create a Federal Appeals Chamber with a seat in the city of Comandante Luis Piedra Buena, Santa Cruz Province, which will be composed of three (3) vowels and will have jurisdiction in civil, commercial, labor, legal matters administrative, fiscal, criminal, and human rights enforcement.

ARTICLE 2 °-The territorial jurisdiction of this House of Appeals will comprise the provinces of Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands, and will be court of the federal courts with a seat in the provinces of Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.

ARTICLE 3-The House created by this law will have four (4) Secretariats: one (1) with jurisdiction in civil, commercial and labor matters; one (1) with jurisdiction in administrative and tax enforcement matters; one (1) with competition in criminal matters and one (1) with competence in the field of human rights.

Article 4 °-Create one (1) Attorney General's Office and one (1) Official Public Defender of the Chamber who will act before the Federal Appeals Chamber with a seat in the city of Comandante Luis Piedra Buena.

ARTICLE 5-Create the charges of Judge of the Chamber, Attorney General of the Chamber, Public Defender of Chamber, Secretaries, Prosecretaries and administrative and technical staff and personnel of service and maestranza that are detailed in the Annexes I, II and III which are part of this law.

Article 6-Amending the territorial jurisdiction of the Federal Appeals Chamber of Comodoro Rivadavia, which when the Chamber is established by this law, will be a court of the federal courts with a seat in the Cities of Rawson, Comodoro Rivadavia and Esquel, province of Chubut.

ARTICLE 7 °-The causes coming from the federal courts of first instance with seat in the provinces of Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and Islands of the South Atlantic that at the time of the implementation of the Federal Chamber of Appeals by Comandante Luis Piedra Buena are pending before the Federal Appeals Chamber of Comodoro Rivadavia or under its jurisdiction, will continue to be based on it until its definitive termination.

ARTICLE 8 °-The Council of the Magistracy and the Public Ministry shall take the necessary measures and mechanisms for the appointment of the magistrates and the installation of the charges created by this law and for the fulfilment of the other derived effects of its implementation.

ARTICLE 9 °-The provisions of this law will be implemented once the necessary budgetary credit is available for the attention of the expenditure that their object demands, to whose effect the Chief of Staff will have the budgetary adjustments This is the case for the reallocation of the current National Budget. Magistrates, officials and employees who are appointed in the created posts will only take possession of the same when such a financial condition is provided.
