Creation of the Under-Secretary for Social Development, within the scope of the Social Development Secretariat. Objectives. Amend Decree No. 660/96.

VISTO Decree No. 660/96 and amendments

CONSIDERING:

That the above-mentioned standard approved the organigram of application within the centralized public administration to the Undersecretariat level.

That Decree No. 1455/96 approved the organizational structure of the SECRETARIAT for SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT of the NATIONAL PRESIDENCE, adapting it to the policies established by the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER for the reform and modernization of the State.

Having analysed the current structure, it is necessary to deepen the transformations made in a timely manner, enabling the creation of an area that permanently assists and advises the holder of the Secretariat and to act as a link of support in the coordination of the actions of the SECRETARIAN FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT and the agencies that depend on it.

Intervention of UNITY OF REFORM AND MODERNIZATION OF THE STATE expiating favorably.

That the present measure is in use of the emerging powers of article 99, paragraph 1 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION and article 15 of Act No. 24,938.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1Refer to the Social Development SUBSECRETARIA in the field of the Social Development SECRETARIAT of the NATIONAL PRESIDENCE.

Art. 2o-Replace Annex I to Decree No. 660/96 and its amendments to the SECRETARY for SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT of the NATIONAL PRESIDENCE, which shall be the following:

SECRETARIAT FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

SUBSECRETARIA DE VIVIENDA

SOCIAL POLITICAL SUBSECRET

SOCIAL PROJECTS

SUBSECRETARY FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

Art. 3o-Apply the objectives of the SUBSECRETARIA FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, in accordance with the working detail in the table annexed to this article.

Art. 4o-Modify the Administrative Distribution of the Budget of the National Administration - Human Resources - of Jurisdiction 20.12 - SECRETARIAT for SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT of the NATIONAL PRESIDENCE, according to annexed table.

Art. 5o-Contact, post, give to the National Directorate of the Official Register and archvese.-MENEM.-Jorge A. Rodríguez.-Carlos V. Corach.

Annex to Article 3

1. Assist and advise the SECRETARY for Social Development on a permanent and direct basis.

2. To act as a supportive link in coordinating the actions of the Secretariat and the agencies that depend on it.

3. Assist the SECRETARY for Social Development in the development and coordination of the Government ' s social policy for the promotion, integration and development of human groups with social problems.

4. Intervene in the management, verification and improvement of social assistance and its development plans at the national, provincial and municipal levels.
