Decree 580/98

Amend Decree No. 496/98, establishing the National Council for the Recovery of Areas Affected by Climate Emergencies, in connection with the expansion of the Advisory Commission of the same through the participation of the General Confederation of Labour, the Confederations and Business Chambers and the National Entities of the Agricultural Sector.

VISTO Decree No. 496 of 7 May 1998 and

CONSIDERING:

That by the so-called Decree was established within the scope of the NATIONAL REPRESIDENCE, the NATIONAL COUNCIL for the recovery of ZONES Affected by CLIMATE EMERGENCIES - CONAREC.

That through article 4 of the decree it was established that the Council shall be assisted by an Advisory Commission, establishing its integration through invitations to be issued by the Minister of the Interior.

That in this instance it is considered appropriate that the Commission also participates in the Confederations and Business Chambers and the National Entities of the Agricultural Sector, and therefore it is appropriate to make the relevant modification.

That the present measure is in use of the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 1, of the National Constitution.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1Replace article 4 of Decree No. 496 of 7 May 1998 with the following:

"ARTICULO 4o-El CONAREC will be assisted by an Advisory Commission, which will be chaired by the Minister of the Interior, who will invite the Intendents of the cities and municipalities affected, to the General Confederation of Labour (C.G.T.), to the Argentine Industrial Union (U.I.A.), to the Confederaciones y Cámaras Empresarials, to the National Agricultural Companies Federation
