VISTO Decree No. 161 of 9 February 1998, appointing Mr. Carlos Faustino GARCIA as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the KINGDOM of TAILAND, and

CONSIDERING:

That the Government of the POPULAR DEMOCRATICAL REPUBLIC DE LAOS granted the style placet for his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to that country.

That the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER is empowered to dispose of the matter, in accordance with the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 7 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1-Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the POPULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC of LAOS, to Mr. Carlos Faustino GARCIA, without prejudice to his current functions as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the KINGDOM OF TAILAND. Art. 2°-The costs required to comply with this Decree shall be charged to the respective provisions of the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, INTERNATIONAL TRADE and CULTO.
