VISTO is informed by the Chief of the Joint Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, as proposed by the Minister of Defence, and

CONSIDERING:

That was replaced by the Military, Naval and Aeronautical Attachment to the Embassy of the ARGENTINA REPUBLIC at the VENEZUELA REPUBLIC, Colonel D. Carlos Emilio VILANOVA (LE N° 5.262.410), appointed by Decree No. 371 of 17 August 1995, for having fulfilled the statutory period.

That according to Article 4 of the Resolution of the MINISTERY OF DEFENSA No. 426, dated 16 December 1996, it was decided to keep this Attachment in a rotating way between the EJERCITO and the AEREA FORCE.

That by the rotation regime established by the Armed Forces for that position, it was the General MAJOR STATE of the AEREA FORCE to cover the same.

That the present measure is in use of the emerging powers of Article 99, paragraph 12 of the CONSTITUTION OF ARGENTINA NATION and Article 10. Act No. 20.957 of the Foreign Service of the Nation.

Therefore,

Article 1- To be appointed as of 15 January 1998, by "permanent" commission and by the term of SETECIENTOS SESENTA (760) days, to Mr. Comodoro D. Guillermo Luis DESTEFANIS (MI N° 5.072.731), as Attached of Defense and Military Attached, Naval and Aeronautical to the Embassy of the REPUBLIC OF REPUBLIC Art. 2°- Erogations arising from the implementation of this Decree shall be met by budgetary provisions assigned to jurisdiction 4523 - General MAJOR STATE OF THE AEREA FORCE.
