NATIONAL OFFICE OF PUBLICA Decree 835/98 Assign to 1 Director and Deputy Director the equivalent of the number of Retributive Units established by Administrative Decision No. 1/96. Bs. As., 20/7/98 B.O: 23/07/98

VISTO that Decree No. 152 of 14 February 1997 established the NATIONAL OFFICE OF PUBLIC ETHIC, with dependence on the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER, and

CONSIDERING:

It was established that the National Office will be headed by UN (1) Director and UN (1) Deputy Director, who will be appointed by the President of the Nation and will have rank and rank of Secretary and Assistant Secretary, respectively.

That through article 13 of Administrative Decision No. 1/96, the equivalent of the number of Retributive Units was established for each case in the table annexed to that article, corresponding to Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries.

That this rule remains in force for the period 1998 with the modifications and adjustments introduced by the decrees approving organizational structures, sanctioned by application of Act No. 24.938, in accordance with article 17 of Administrative Decision No. 6/98.

That in order to allow for the better performance of its tasks, the National Office needs to be assigned to its Director and Deputy Director the equivalent of the number of Retributive Units that the precited rule establishes for the Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries, in accordance with the rank and hierarchy of the staff members, for the constitution of their cabinets.

The expenditure for such Retributive Units is provided for in the General Budget of Expenses and Resources Act for the year 1998.

That the present measure is in exercise of the emerging powers of article 99, paragraph 1, of the National Constitution.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 Artículo The Director and Deputy Director of the NATIONAL OFFICE OF PUBLICA ETICS, under the NATIONAL PRESIDENCE, the equivalent of the number of Retributive Units set out in its annexed table in article 13 of Administrative Decision No. 1/96, for the Secretaries and Secretaries, for the constitution of their respective cabinets. Art. 2o o The expenditure required for the implementation of the present Decree shall be met from the specific provisions of the programme or budgetary activity that are provided for in the current budget.
