VISTO the resignation presented by the Director of the BANCO CENTRAL OF THE ARGENTINA REPUBLIC Doctor D. Juan Martín ETCHEGOYHEN, and

CONSIDERING:

That for the purpose of replacing him in that office, the HONORABLE SENADO DE LA NATION has provided Agreement No. 33 of 10 June 1998 to appoint Dr. Roberto Antonio REYNA as Director of the aforementioned Institution as proposed by Message No. 610 of 20 May 1998.

That under articles 7 and 13 of Act No. 24,144 - Organic Charter of the BANCO CENTRAL OF THE ARGENTINA REPUBLIC, it is up to the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER to issue the relevant measure in order to effect such a designation.

Therefore,

Article 1 Designase Director, BANCO CENTRAL DE LA REPUBLICA ARGENTINA al Doctor D. Roberto Antonio REYNA (L.E. No. 7.364.115), to complete a period of law.
