Non-indigenous products Decree 1074/98 Please outline the implementation of the provisions of Decree No. 494/97 and the supplementary resolution of the Ministry of Economy and Works and Public Services No. 325/98, for the purpose of processing and approval of projects within the budget quota for the year 1998, with the new deadline for submission. VISTO Law No. 22.021, Article 51 of Law No. 24,938, 1 Decree No. 3319 of 21 December 1979 and No. 494 of 30 May 1997 and Resolution MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES No. 325 of 18 March 1998 and

CONSIDERING:

That the last paragraph of article 51 of Law No. 24,938 on Budget of the National Administration for the Exercise 1998 empowers the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER to adopt, until 31 December 1998, non-industrial projects in regions of the different provinces of the country with high poverty index, lower relative development and greater distance to major consumption centres.

That such a legal provision is similar to that established in the last paragraph of article 36 of Act No. 24,764 on the Budget of the National Administration for the Exercise 1997.

That Decree No. 494/97 issued the regulations governing implementation for the approval of non-industrial projects within the limiting quota set by the last paragraph of article 36 of Act No. 24.764.

It is appropriate to decide on the implementation of the provisions of Decree No. 494/97 for the purposes of processing and approval of projects within the budget quota for the year 1998.

On the basis of administrative economics, it is also appropriate to provide for the implementation of such projects of the provisions of the MINISTERY Resolution on ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES No. 325/98 establishing supplementary provisions for Decree No. 494/97.

The new deadline for the submission of projects is also required.

That the General Directorate of Humanitarian Affairs of the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND SERVICES PUBLICOS has taken the intervention that belongs to him.

That the present is given in the use of the powers granted by article 99, paragraph 2, of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore;

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 The non-industrial projects referred to in the last paragraph of Article 51 of Law No. 24,938 shall be applied to the provisions set out in Decree No. 494/ 97, in Resolution MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWORKS AND SERVICES PUBLIC No. 325/98 and those set out in this Decree. Art. 2o- Please note, on 15 October 1998, including, as the date of completion of the deadline for the submission of projects to be carried out by the Provincial Governments in the terms of Article 4 of Decree No. 494/97 and the documentation set out in Article 1 of the MINISTERY Resolution of ECONOMY AND ARTWORKS AND PUBLIC SERVICES No. 325/98.

Companies that have not yet been registered in the Public Register of Commerce and/or the corresponding Register shall submit to the date indicated in the preceding paragraph the record of the commencement of the proceedings before the registration.

Art. 3o- Without prejudice to compliance with the requirements set out in Article 5 of Decree No. 494/97, agricultural projects shall be accompanied by the following information:

(a) Sales price study of the products generated and the inputs used.

(b) Unit costs and number of units required in each investment and operating expenses.

(c) With agricultural projects detailing the proposed crop rotation.

(d) In the case of livestock projects, the forage balance, the evolution of the rodeo and the management of the same should be recorded.

(e) Projects involving the use of underground irrigation, a hydrogeological study to determine the quantity and quality of the available water.
