NATIONAL PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION Decree 1244/98 Provide a monthly benefit for staff who credit the status of former combatant in the war actions developed in the South Atlantic theatre.

VISTO Law No. 23.109 and its Rule Decree No. 509 of 26 April 1988; and

CONSIDERING:

In the framework of the reference law, benefits were granted to ex-combatants who participated in the war actions carried out in the South Atlantic between 2 April and 14 June 1982.

That the Federation of Veterans of War of the Argentine Republic requests the granting of a monthly benefit to ex-combatants incorporated into the National Civil Service, in consideration of the measures implemented in this regard in the provincial and municipal order.

That it is the will of the National Government, for reasons of justice and recognition, to have conformity.

That this measure dictates in the use of the powers conferred on the National Executive Power by article 99, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the National Constitution.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 -Please note, from the first day of the month following the date of this decree, a monthly supplement equivalent to the OCHENTA and CINCO BY CIENTO (85%) of the basic allocation corresponding to level E of the General Group of the National System of Administrative Profession approved by Decree No. 993/91 (T.O. 1995) for the personnel of the National Public Administration that proves the status of the former Atlantic theatre Art. 2° -The Add-on established by the previous article shall not be considered as a basis of calculation for any other Additional, Supplement or Bonus, nor shall it be subject to forecast and assistive discounts, being compatible with the perception of any other benefit that the agent perceives with the exception of the assigned denomination or concept. Art. 3° -Reference is made to the SECRETARIAT OF THE PUBLIC FUNCTION OF THE JEFATURA DE GABINETE OF MINISTERS and the SECRETARIAT OF HACIENDA OF THE MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND SERVICES PUBLICS to dictate, within the scope of their respective competences, the clarification and/or complementary standards that are necessary for the implementation of this Decree. Art. 4° -The expenditure that demands compliance with this Decree is charged to the specific provisions of the Budget of each entity or jurisdiction. The respective jurisdictions or entities shall manage the budgetary modifications necessary, within their own budget and subject to the legal and regulatory rules governing the matter.
