VISTO file No. 4518/98 of the registration of the SECRETARIAT OF CULTURE of the NATIONAL RESIDENCE; and

CONSIDERING:

That the above file requests the declaration of national interest for the participation of the Aboriginal community TOBA of the Province of FORMOSA in the IKEBUKURO International Conference, which will be held from 19 to 25 October 1998 in JAPON.

That the PRESIDENCE CULTURE SECRETARY DE LA NATION believes that such activity falls within the cultural policy of the Government of the Nation, and thus encourages the dictation of this measure.

That the present measure is in use of the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 1 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

Article 1-The participation of the Aboriginal community TOBA from the Province of FORMOSA in the IKEBUKURO International Conference, which takes place from 19 to 25 October 1998 in JAPON, is of national interest.
