VISTO Decree No. 68 of 21 January 1998, by which Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic was appointed in the REPUBLIC OF INDIA, Mr. D. Gerardo Manuel BIRITOS, and

CONSIDERING:

That the Government of the Socialist Democratic Republic of the Congo DE SRI LANKA granted the style placét for his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to that country.

That the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER is empowered to dispose of the matter, in accordance with the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 7, of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1-Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the Socialist Democratic Republic of SRI LANKA, Mr. Gerardo Manuel BIRITOS (M.I. No. 8.149.020), without prejudice to his current functions as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic at the INDIA REPUBLIC. Art. 2°-The costs required to comply with this Decree shall be charged to the respective provisions of the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, INTERNATIONAL TRADE and CULTO.
