VISTO the visit made to the country by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the POPULAR REPUBLIC CHINA, D. Gao HUCHENG and comitiva, between 19 and 22 October 1998, as recommended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, INTERNATIONAL TRADE and CULTO, and

CONSIDERING:

That the visit of such distinguished personalities was of particular satisfaction to the Argentine Government.

That by virtue of the high investiture of the visitors it was necessary to grant them the treatment of Official Guests of the Argentine Government.

That the Declaration of Official Guests should be part of the powers conferred on the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER by article 99, paragraph 1, of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

Article 1 -The treatment of Official Hosts of the Argentine Government to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the POPULAR REPUBLIC CHINA, D. Gao HUCHENG and comitiva, during his stay in the Republic between 19 and 22 October 1998. Art. 2° -Appropriate from the budget for jurisdiction 35 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, INTERNATIONAL TRADE And CULTO- for the year 1998, the expenses derived from this Decree.
