VISTO Decree No. 402 dated 7 May 1997 appointing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the SANTA SEDE, Mr. D. Esteban Juan CASELLI, and

CONSIDERING:

May the government of SOBERANA ORDEN MILITAR DE MALTA granted the style placet for his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to that country.

That the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER is empowered to dispose of the matter, in accordance with the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 7 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

DECRETA

Article 1-Separate Mr. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the SANTA SEDE D. Esteban Juan CASELLI, without prejudice to his current functions and in equal character before SOBERANA ORDEN MILITAR DE MALTA.

Art. 2°-The costs required for the implementation of this Decree shall be charged to the specific provisions of the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, INTERNATIONAL TRADE and CULTO, for the year 1997.
