Assemble the category of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to an Advisor, for the sole purpose of the protocol range.

VISTO that by Decree No. 351 of 17 April 1997, Dr. Mariano Augusto CAVAGNA MARTINEZ has been appointed Advisor to the NATION PRESIDENCE, with rank of Secretary of State; and

CONSIDERING:

That the important functions assigned to Dr. Mariano Augusto CAVAGNA MARTINEZ represent the permanent relationship with high national and foreign authorities.

That by the relevance of the tasks to be carried out by Dr. CAVAGNA MARTINEZ, Mr. PRESIDENT OF THE NATION has decided to assign him the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

That the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER is empowered to assign the diplomatic category of Ambassador, to the sole effect of the protocol range, to persons who do not constitute the Permanent Body of the Foreign Service of the Nation, as provided for in article 6 of the Foreign Service of the Nation Act No. 20,957.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1-Assign the category of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the sole effect of the protocol range, to Doctor D. Mariano Augusto CAVAGNA MARTINEZ (M.I. No. 4.173.278), while serving as Advisor to the PRESIDENCE OF THE NATION, with rank of Secretary of State, as set out in Article 6 of the Law of the Foreign Service of the Nation No. 20.957
