Authorize the Army Institute of Higher Education (IESE - University of the Army), to install and operate a sound broadcasting service with frequency modulation in the locality of Campo de Mayo, Province of Buenos Aires.

VISTO Issue No. 2048 of 23 October 1,995, of the Register of the FEDERAL COMMITTEE OF RADIODIFUSION, and

CONSIDERING:

That in the above-mentioned proceedings it processes the order made by the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, to obtain authorization for the Institute of Higher Education of the Army (University of the Army) to install and operate a sound broadcasting service with modulation of frequency in the town of CAMPO DE MAYO, party of General Sarmiento, province of BUENOS AIRES.

That the University, is incorporated by Resolution No. 2024/90 of the registration of the former Ministry of Education and Justice, to the regime of Law No. 17.778 -Universities Provincials- while that administrative act gives national validity to the studies, degrees and degrees of various careers that such institution issues; thus fulfilling the public service of university education, it is desirable that it be able to have the means to achieve the new aims required for it.

It was therefore requested to intervene with the National Communications Commission, which, in compliance with its specific competence, made the corresponding frequency reserve.

That the Directorate-General for Legal Affairs and Licences of the FEDERAL COMMITTEE OF RADIODIFUSION has ruled on the matter.

That the National Executive is competent to issue the present act, in accordance with the provisions of articles 3, 8 and 107 of Act No. 22,285.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1-Authorize the Institute of Higher Education of the Army (IESE - University of the Army), to install and operate UN (1) sound broadcasting service with frequency modulation in the town of CAMPO DE MAYO, party of General Sarmiento, province of BUENOS AIRES.

Art. 2°-Assemblage to the modulated frequency service corresponding to that University, channel 205, at the frequency of 88.9 Mhz., with an Effective Radiated Power (PRE) of 0.3 KW and an Antenna Medium Height (HMA) of 60 mts. maximum equivalent: with the technical parameters indicated the Chapter is framed in the category "F", whose radius of the area of service estimated (48 dBucise)

Art. 3°-In view of the fact that the development of the National Technical Plan for Modulated Frequency Service is not approved by Executive Decree, the aforementioned reserve may be modified in some of its technical parameters after the completion of the aforementioned Plan.

Art. 4°-Note a period of NOVATE (90) days from the notification of this Decree, for the Institute of Higher Education of the Army (IEE-University of the Army), to submit the technical documentation of the authorized service necessary for its final approval and inspection by the NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION, and consequently to the FEDERAL COMMITTEE OF RADIODIFUSION.
