VISTO that on 23 March 1997 the period of law for which they were appointed CUATRO (4) of the CINCO (5) members of the NATIONAL COMMISSION PROTECTORA DE BIBLIOTECAS POPULARES, under the jurisdiction of the SECRETARIAT OF CULTURE of the PRESIDENCE OF NATION and the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of the Law No. 23,351 and

CONSIDERING:

It is necessary to ensure the continuity of the management of the NATIONAL COMMISSION PROTECTORA DE BIBLIOTECAS POPULARES.

Mr. Fernando Horacio PERRI (D.N.I.) has been elected. No. 14.349.721) representing the confederate entity of leaders of popular libraries: Mrs. Silvia Mercedes BIALE of BERGARA (L.C. No. 5.716.368) and Mr. Luis Gabriel ZURUETA (D.N.I. No. 4.580.140), by the Representative Board of Popular Libraries.

That the professional, institutional and personal background of the applicants conform to the requirements of Law No. 23,351 and credit the close links to the work of librarian and the sufficient experience in the field of education and popular culture.

That, on the other hand, it is the will of the National Government to continue to strengthen the policy of consultation with all sectors linked to the popular libraries of the country and to increase support and encouragement for the development of library services and the promotion of popular reading.

That the present measure is determined in the use of the emerging powers of article 9 of Law No. 23,351 and article t99, paragraph 1 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,
