B.O: 13/8/97
VISTO Issue No. 418.918/96 of the registration of the former NATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF ADUANAS, and
CONSIDERING:
That the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and CULTO requests the extension of the deadline provided for in article 33, paragraph 1, of Decree No. 1001/82.
That the above-mentioned standard provides for a period of SESENTA (60) days for the stay in the country of animals temporarily entering for grazing purposes in border areas, a practice called "veranada" or "invernada".
That the rule also provides for the possibility of an extension of the time limit mentioned up to TREINTA (30) days, if properly justified.
That the basis of the request made by the body cited in the first considering lies in the fact that the period established in the rule that is amended by the present is elusive in the face of the demands of grazing of the semovants who enter the country for the purpose of "veranada" or "invernada"
That, as a result of the above, the extension of the period of stay of animals entering the country under the conditions established in the previous consideration in SEIS (6) months is encouraged.
That, given the extension of the new deadline set by the present, it is not necessary to foresee an extension of the same as the rule that is amended here.
That in the proceedings the NATIONAL DIRECTION OF IMPESTS and the General DIRECTION OF JURIDIC MATTERS of the MINISTERIO DE ECONOMIAY ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES have taken action.
That the present is in use of the powers granted by article 99, paragraph 2 of the National Constitution and article 277 of the Customs Code (Act No. 22.415).
Therefore,
THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION
