VISTO Draft Law No. 24,873, sanctioned by the HONORABLE CONGRESS OF NATION dated 3 September 1997 and

CONSIDERING:

That the HONORABLE CONGRESO DE LA NATION has sanctioned the Bill cited in the Visto, by which a customs registry office is established in the capital of the province of Santiago del Estero.

That by Resolution No. 3649, dated 8 November 1996, of the registration of the NATIONAL EXAMINISTRATION OF ADUANAS, the current General DIRECTION OF ADUANAS of the FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC INGRESOS, dependent on the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES, was established in Santiago

That only QUINCE (15) operations have been documented in the above-mentioned period by the former customs office.

That the recorded operational volume does not justify the creation of the customs registry office contemplated in the draft Law in treatment, especially taking into account the expenses that this generates to the public court.

That in the merits of the above reasons it is appropriate to observe in its entirety the Draft Law sanctioned under No. 24,873.

That the present measure is determined in the use of the powers conferred by Article 83 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,
