Designate in "permanent" commission a Senior Army Officer to serve as Military Attachment to the Argentine Embassy in the People's Republic of China.

VISTO is informed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, as proposed by the Minister of Defence, and

CONSIDERING:

That by Decree No. 870 of 27 June 1995, he was appointed by "permanent" commission, beginning on 17 December 1995 and by the term of SETECIENTOS SESENTA (760) days, the Colonel of Artillery D. Guillermo Roberto TRUCCO (M.I. 5.262.407), to serve as Military, Naval and Aeronautical Attachment to the Argentine Embassy in the PULARBLICA.

That in order to replace the Colonel of Artillery D. Guillermo Roberto TRUCCO (M.I. 5.262.407), at the end of his commission, it is necessary to appoint as a "permanent" commission, beginning on 17 December 1997 and for the term of TRESCIENTOS NOVENTA and CINCO (395) days, to the Colonel of Infantry D. José María Roberto Eduardo de FELIU (M.I.

That the designation of the Infantry Colonel D. José María Roberto Eduardo de FELIU (M.I. 4.523.388), is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Ministry of Defence No. 426 of 16 December 1996 and in order to complete the Annual Programme of Activities and Commissions abroad (PAACE - Year 1998).

That the proposed measure is determined by virtue of the powers conferred on the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER by Article 10 of Law No. 20,957 of the Foreign Service of the Nation.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1Designase en Comisión "permanente", a partir del 17 de diciembre de 1997 y por el term de TRESCIENTOS NOVENTA y CINCO (395) días, al Coronel de Infantería D. José María Roberto Eduardo de FELIU (M.I. 4.523.388), a fin de ser a Attachado Militar a la Embajada Argentina en la REPUBLICA POPULAR CHINA.

Art. 2o-Transport costs (airway back and forth), will be met by the General MAJOR STATE OF THE EXERCISE.

Art. 3o-The General Staff Account shall proceed to liquidate in the country the payment of the concepts of compensation for change of destination and the equivalent of the first quarter of the salaries and emoluments corresponding to the designated Senior Officer, with application of the percentage established in Article 2417 of the Regulation of Title II (Military Personal in Activity) - Chapter IV (Haberes) of the Military Decree No.

Art. 4o-The costs required by the commission of the designated Senior Officer shall be charged to the provisions of the General Budget of the National Administration for the Exercise of 1997 and to the provisions for that purpose for the years to come - Jurisdiction 4521 - General MAJOR STATE OF THE EXERCISE.

Art. 5o-The relevant passport will be granted by the NATIONAL DIRECTION OF CEREMONIAL.
