Cese and designation of Military Attachment to the Argentine Embassy in the Italian Republic.

VISTO is informed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, as proposed by the Minister of Defence, and

CONSIDERING:

That by Decree No. 827 of July 24, 1996, he was appointed in "permanent" commission, from December 17, 1996 and by the term of SETECIENTOS SESENTA (760) days, the Colonel of Infantry D. Jorge Luis Ismael ZAMUDIO (M.I. 4.980.939), in order to act as Military Attachment to the Argentine Embassy in the ITAL REPUBLIC.

That for reasons of service within the Army Force, it is necessary to cease the Infantry Colonel D. Jorge Luis Ismael ZAMUDIO (M.I. 4.980.939), in his role, beginning on 1 January 1998.

That at the end of the function the Infantry Colonel D. Jorge Luis Ismael ZAMUDIO (M.I. 4.980.939), it is necessary to designate in his replacement the Infantry Colonel D. Mario Luis CHRETIEN (M.I. 8.215.677), from 17 December 1997 and for the term SETECIENTOS SESENTA (760) days, in order to carry out the Military Embassy

That the appointment of Infantry Colonel Mario Luis CHRETIEN (M.I. 8.215.677) is made in accordance with the Resolution of the Ministry of Defence Nro. 426 dated 16 December 1996 (Distribution of Military Attachments) and to complete the Annual Programme of Activities and Commissions abroad (PAACE - Year 1998).

That under the above, it is necessary to regularize the situation raised by the dictation of the corresponding administrative act.

That the proposed measure is determined by virtue of the powers conferred on the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER by Article 10 of Law No. 20,957 of the Foreign Service of the Nation.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 It ceases from 1 January 1998 as Military Attachment to the Argentine Embassy in the ITALIAN REPUBLIC, Infantry Colonel Jorge Luis Ismael ZAMUDIO (M.1.4.980.939), appointed by Decree No. 827 of 24 July 1996, to return to the country on 15 January 1998.

Art. 2o- Designase en Comisión "permanente", a partir del 17 de diciembre de 1997 y por el term de SETECIENTOS SESENTA (760) días, al Coronel de Infantería D. Mario Luis CHRETIEN (M.I. 8.215.677), a fin de servos como Agregado Militar a la Embajada Argentina en la REPUBLICA ITALIANA.

Art. 3o- Transport costs (airway - back and forth), will be met by the General MAJOR STATE OF THE EXERCISE.

Art. 4o- The General MAJOR STATE OF THE EJERCITO (General Staff Account), will proceed to liquidate in the country the payment of the concepts compensation for change of destination and the equivalent of the first quarter of the salaries and emoluments corresponding to Infantry Colonel D. Mario Luis CHRETIEN (M.I. 8.215.677), with application of the percentage established in Article 2417 of the Regulation of Title II (Military Personal in Activity) - Chapter IV (Habers of the Law for Military Personnel - Law 19.101, approved by Decree No. 3294 of 29 December 1978, amended by its similar No. 1003 of 29 April 1983 and subsequently to make the country of residence.

Art. 5o- The expenses required by the commission of Infantry Colonel Mario Luis CHRETIEN (M.I. 8.215.677), shall be charged to the provisions of the General Budget of the National Administration for the Exercise 1997 and to the credits for that purpose for the years to come - Jurisdiction 4521 - General MAJOR STATE OF EJERCITO.

Art. 6o- The relevant passport will be granted by the NATIONAL DIRECTION OF CEREMONIAL.
