VISTO Issue No. 060-003514/97 of the Register of the MINISTERY of ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES, Law No. 21.932 and Decree No. 2677 of 20 December 1991 and its amendments, and

CONSIDERING:

That through the file mentioned in the View the NATIONAL COUNCIL of VOLUNTARY BODIES OF THE REPUBLIC ARGENTINA highlights the concern of its affiliates regarding the prohibition of entry into the country of motor vehicles for the exclusive use of the Fire Corps.

At present they are in the situation described in the previous consideration DOCE (12) units intended for different Fire Corps, which have been shipped to Customs Primary Zone.

It is necessary to encourage the activities of the entities that request authorization to import such units, because these are non-profit civil associations, which perform an essential public service in the care of the life and heritage of the fellow citizens, in a totally disinterested way, not receiving any remuneration.

That Act No. 21.932 repealing Act No. 19.135 left the suspension of automotive imports without effect and opened the import subject to certain requirements which were subsequently regulated by Decree No. 2677/91 and its amendments.

That the decision taken through this decree arises as a result of having deeply pondered the reasons for opportunity, merit and convenience that so advise and is of the nature of an exceptional measure which, if not to mediate the situation and the fate of the goods referred to in the previous consideration, would not have taken place.

That, according to this, it is considered necessary to exempt the managed operation from the provisions on the import of motors established by Decree No. 2677 of 20 December 1991 and its amendments.

That, however, in the previous consideration, the participation of the SECRETARIAT OF INDUSTRIA, COMMERCY AND MINERIA of the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES, as the Authority of Application of the Automotive Regime, is necessary for the purpose of granting the import certificates according to the descriptions of the vehicles operating in the Shipente mentioned in the View.

That the General Directorate of Humanitarian Affairs of the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWORKS PUBLICOS has taken the intervention that belongs to him.

That this Decree is issued in the use of the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 1, of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1Authorize the import of DOCE (12) vehicles for different associations of firefighters Volunteers, excluding those of the quota regime established in article 19 of Decree No. 2677/91 and its amendments. BODY OF BARILOCHE, PROVISIONS OF RIO NEGRO, THREE (3) vehicles; VOLUNTARY BODIES

Art. 2o-The SECRETARIAT OF INDUSTRIA. TRADE AND MINERIA OF THE MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWORKS AND SERVICES PUBLICOS shall grant the corresponding certificates for the import of DOCE (12) units, whose technical descriptions work in Annex I which is an integral part of this decree.
