NATIONAL COMMISSION OF VALORES Decree 572/96 Securities Fund S. A. Modification of Decree No. 2220/80 concerning information required by the General Tax Directorate.

VISTO the provisions of Act No. 23.271, and

CONSIDERING:

That the VALORES CAJA SOCIEDAD ANONIMA is considered to be inhibited from providing the information required by the IMPOSTITIVE GENERAL DIRECTION under the SECRETARIAT OF HACIENDA of the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY and ARTWS and PUBLIC SERVICES with the scope set out in the aforementioned law, pursuant to the specific provisions of Article 6 of Decree No. 2220 of 24 October 1980.

That the Decree in question must be adapted to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act No. 23.271, the provisions of which are of public order and which stipulates, in respect of the entities or subjects covered by Acts 21.526 and 17,811, that the duty to keep secret shall not be governed by the information requested by the aforementioned Rescue Agency, with greater scope than those provided for in Decree No. 2220/80.

That the present decree is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by article 99, paragraph 2 of the NATIONAL CONSITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

"d) The IMPOSITIVE GENERAL DIRECTION under the HACIENDA SECRETARIAT of the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY AND ARTWS AND PUBLIC SERVICES in compliance with their legal functions. Such information may be of a particular or general nature, and may refer to one or more specific subjects or not, even if they are not controlled. The information required cannot refer to ongoing operations or pending liquidation."
