FAMILY ASIGNATIONS Decree 771/96 Please note that the amounts, requirements and conditions of access to the benefits set out in the new legal system provided for by Decree No. 770/96.

VISTO Decree on Necessity and Emergency No. 770/96, which establishes a new legal regime for family assignments, and

CONSIDERING:

It is necessary to set the amounts, requirements and conditions of access to the benefits regulated by the new system.

That the regulation of all these aspects should be consistent with the purposes and objectives that inspire the modification of the family allocation regime, aimed at the redistribution of its resources to favour the lower-income sectors, and the simplification of the current benefit table that aligns it with the current characteristics of the socio-economic situation.

That is particularly important, in keeping with these objectives, the emphasis placed on the Assignment by Son, and the doubling of its amount for lower-income workers and retirees, as one of the instruments to contribute effectively to accentuate the redistributive component of the system.

Accordingly, pursuant to article 99, paragraph 2, of the Convention,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

DECRETA

Article 1 La Maternity allowance shall consist of the payment of a monthly amount equal to the remuneration that the worker would have earned in her employment, which shall be paid during the period of legal leave.

For the enjoyment of this assignment will require a minimum and continuous antiquity in the employment of THREE (3) months.

Art. 2° . The birth or adoption allowance shall consist of the payment of an amount to be paid to the worker or beneficiary of the Integrated Pension and Pension System (ISJP) in the month of birth or adoption.

For the enjoyment of this assignment, a minimum and continuous antiquity will be required in the employment of SEIS (6) months at the date of birth or adoption.

Art. 3rd La The child allowance shall consist of the payment of a monthly amount to be paid to the worker or beneficiary of the SIJP for each child who is in charge from the moment of conception to the DIECIOCHO (18) years of age.

For the enjoyment of this assignment during the period prior to birth, a minimum and continuous antiquity in the employment of THREE (3) months will be required.

When it comes to a disabled child, in the terms of law 22,431. a differential amount may be set in the allowance and shall not govern the age limit.

Art. 4° . For the purposes of this Decree, they will also be considered as children, minors or persons with disabilities whose guardianship, inheritance or guardianship has been accorded to the worker or beneficiary of the Integrated Pension and Pension System (SIJP) by competent judicial or administrative authority. In such cases, the respective parents shall not have the right for such children to collect the aforementioned assignments. Art. 5° . The monthly allowances will be made effective together with the remuneration when the monthly payment is made.

The Social Security Secretariat of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security DE LA NATION is empowered to establish how to effect benefits in the event that the pay period differs from that described in the preceding paragraph.

Art. 6° El The NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER is empowered to regulate pluricobertura cases; to establish differential zone coefficients to apply on the amount of benefits, and aliquate of contributions. Art. 7° . The benefits established by this decree are unpaid, are neither paid nor subject to charges, nor will they be taken into account for the determination of the supplementary annual salary or for the payment of severance pay, illness, accident or for any other effect. Art. 8° . The beneficiaries of the Integrated Pension and Pension System (SIJP) shall have the right to receive the benefits set out in this decree without having to enjoy any age. Art. 9° de Note the amount of the benefits granted by this decree in the following values:

(a) Birth or adoption allowance ($ 200).

(b) Child allowance PESOS CUARENTA ($ 40) for those who receive a monthly remuneration that does not exceed PESOS QUINIENTOS ($ 500) and PESOS VEINTE ($ 20) for those who earn a remuneration between PESOS QUINIENTOS ($ 500) and PESOS MIL ($ 1,000).

(d) Assignment for a child with a disability PESOS CIENTO VEINTE ($ 120).
