Decree 895/96

Amend Decree No. 474/96 on the implementation of a technical review system (RTO) for vehicles of particular use of various categories based in the Federal Capital, establishing a compliance schedule.

VISTO Law No. 24.449, Decree No. 779 of 20 November 1995 and Decree No. 474 of 30 April 1996 and

CONSIDERING:

That the decree quoted in the last term provided that the MUNICIPALITY OF THE CIUDAD OF BUENOS AIRES put into force, on a transitional basis, the implementation of a Technical Review System (RTO) of all vehicles that integrate the categories L, M, N and O of particular use based in the Federal Capital, as established in Chapter II - Parque Used - Article 34 - of Decree No. 779/95.

That the current institutional legal body advises to submit the system for consideration by the future authorities of the City of Buenos Aires.

That the time limit set out in article 2 of Decree No. 474/96 should be amended.

That the present is given in the use of the powers conferred by article 99, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 - Replace Article 2 of Decree No. 474 of 30 April 1996 with the following: "ARTICULO 2° - In order to make the periodic Obligatory Technical Review (RTO) viable for the particular park, which provides the MUNICIPALITY of the AIRES CIUDAD, the system will begin to operate on 1 September of the current, in accordance with the timetable that is part of the Annex I. "
