NATIONAL UNIVERSITY Decree 283/94 Amendment of Decrees N^ros 1610/93 and 965/92.

VISTO is proposed by MINISTERY OF CULTURE AND EDUCATION, and

CONSIDERING:

That by the application of Decree No. 1610 of 30 July 1993, the remuneration of teachers with simple and semi-exclusive dedication recorded an improvement that balanced the wage increases given to teachers through Decree No. 965 of 17 June 1992.

That Decree No. 2427 of 19 November 1993 provided for non-remunerative and unpayable incentives to teaching staff involved in research activities.

That under the above, it is necessary to adapt the remunerations of the Higher Authorities of the National Universities, so that they maintain an adequate relationship with the remunerations corresponding to the university teaching staff.

That, for this purpose, it is necessary to issue the administrative act in order to meet the objectives set, beginning on 1 March 1994.

That the SECTOR PUBLICO's TECHNICAL ADVISORY TECHNOLOGY took the intervention that belongs to it.

That the present measure fits into the powers granted to the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE POWER, by article 86, paragraph 1 of the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 ". Incorporate in Decree No. 1610 of 30 July 1993, as article 7° bis, the following: "The annualized financing of the greatest expenditure resulting from the increases in remuneration of the Higher Authorities of the National Universities will be affected to the budgetary provision or to provide for the attention of this decree in the General Budget Law of the National Administration for the year 1994". Art. 2° . Amend from 1 March and 1 May 1994, Annex V to Decree No. 965 of 17 June 1992, in the amounts detailed in Annexes I and II, respectively, which form an integral part of this decree. Art. 3rd . The emerging costs of the application of the provisions of the previous article will be charged to Program 26 - University Development, Activity 01 - Conduction and Support to University Policies, Subparagraph 5 - Transfers, Principal Part 6 - Transfers to National Universities, in the Parts to distribute, relating to Decree No. 1610/93, of the Budget for Jurisdiction 70 - MINISTERIO OF CULTURA and EDUC. Art. 4° . Increases resulting from the application of the remuneration set out in Annexes I and II of Article 2 of this Decree may only be granted if the National Universities have the necessary budgetary credit to settle them in the course of the year. They should also not imply an automatic increase in the items intended for that purpose, for the next year, and therefore their annual valuation should be covered by the credit levels set by the current Budget Act.
