ELECTORAL CONVOCATORY Decree 312/94 Extend deadlines set by Decree No. 2754/93

CONSIDERING:

That the above-mentioned law declared the need for partial reform of the National Constitution, empowering the National Executive to make the corresponding call throughout the territory of the Nation.

That, by Decree No. 2754/93, was set on 10 April 1994 for the election of the conventional constituents, establishing the electoral schedule to give effect to the call and the electoral act.

That in order to ensure the harmonization of the national electoral process with which important electoral districts are taking place simultaneously to elect conventional provincial constituents in order to modify their own constitutions, it is necessary to extend the deadlines set by Decree No. 2754/93.

That the present is given by virtue of the powers conferred upon the National Executive by article 8 of Act No. 24,309.

Therefore,

THE PROVISORY CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE OF NATION IN EXERCISE OF THE EXECUTIVE POWER

RIGHT:

Article 1 - For the term of ninety-six (96) hours, the time limits of the electoral schedule set out in Annex II to Decree 2754 of 30 December 1993, with the exception of the date provided for in article 1 of the decree.
