PUBLIC DEUDA Decree 403/93 Extend the deadline set by article 26 (b) of Decree No. 2140/91.

Article 14 of Act No. 23,982, article 4 of Act No. 24,130 and article 26 (b) of Decree No. 2140/91, and

CONSIDERING:

That the Previsional Debt Consolidation Bonuses have been an appropriate tool for the payment of due obligations as at 1 April 1991.

That the debtors of the NATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF SECURITY SOCIAL has repeatedly resorted to these titles to cancel its debts.

It has been extended from 1 April 1991 to 31 August 1992 in order to establish the aggravations of the prospective beneficiaries referred to in article 1 of Act No. 23,982 and its Decree No. 2140/91, in accordance with the date of the court set out in article 4 of Act No. 24,130, the issue of the corresponding titles is imminent.

It is therefore appropriate to extend the deadline set by article 26 (b) of Decree No. 2140/91, allowing the holders of the Consolidation of Previsional Debts to cancel until 31 December 1993.

That this expansion also proceeds to the support of the contribution of such titles in the market, thus favoring the beneficiaries of the forecast system that are possessing them.

That the present is dictated in the use of the emerging powers of article 86, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the National Constitution.
