Decree 756/93

Set up prizes.

VISTO Act No. 17.741 and its amendments, Act No. 19,363, Decrees on Necessity and Urgentity. 2736 of 26 December 1991 and 949 of 15 June 1992 and Decree No. 2226 of 20 November 1985; and

CONSIDERING:

That the Decree on Necessity and Emergencies No. 949 of 15 June 1992, in its article 22, extends the task of instituting prizes granted to the NATIONAL EXECUTIVE PODER by Law No. 19.363, for the benefit of the locators and buyers of videograms in the old-clubs, as well as the provision of rules relating to institutional advertising and dissemination of the INSTITUIONAL Awards system.

That the awards instituted by Decree No. 2226/85 do not bring together sufficient attractiveness for the cinematographic spectator and for the acquirers and locators of videograms.

That in order to encourage the concurrence of the cinematographic rooms and the visualization of videograms it is necessary to establish prizes that encourage the greatest number of spectators possible, adding the same to the quality of the films.

That for such purposes it is necessary to adapt the existing regulations, adapting it to the new situation raised.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 - Institute as the first prize, among the acquirers of Official Tickets established for access to the cinematographic rooms, the delivery in full ownership of a vehicle of no more than PESOS CATORCE MIL ($ 14,000).

That the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA may opt for the delivery of the vehicle to the winner of that award or the sum of PESOS CATORCE MIL ($ 14,000). This draw will be practiced monthly among the persons mentioned in the first paragraph of this article.

Art. 2o - Institute prizes to the sum of MIL THREAT PESOS ($ 300,000) per year to count from the validity of this decree to be drawn between the acquirers of the Official Tickets mentioned in Article 1 of this Decree and between the final consumers acquiring videograms or locators of the same who have paid the tax established by Decree No. 2736/91.

There is the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA entitled to establish the cadence of the prize draws referred to in this article, the rules that will govern the same, and the form of payment, which may be in kind or in money, not being able to any of the prizes contemplated in this article to exceed individually from PESOS UN MIL ($ 1,000).

Art. 3o - The system of the present Decree will begin to govern from the first day of the month following the publication of the rules of the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAPHA as provided for in the previous article.

Art. 4o - If the reasons for the invalidity of the instrument that enables the participant to participate in the draw are attributable to the seller, and if the same damages the participant, the owner of the establishment where the expedition has been carried out will be responsible for the same, without prejudice to the penalties appropriate to him for the application of Act No. 17.741 and its amendments and complementary rules.

Art. 5o - The Official Film Ticket will be provided to the exhibitors by the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA or by whom it has an inventory charge for its compulsory use in all the cinematographic functions and as the only means of access to the show.

Art. 6o - Add to article 16 of Decree No. 2226 of 20 November 1985, the following paragraph: "Also, the editors of videograms shall include in each copy that is edited and at its beginning, from the SESENTA (60) days of publication of the present decree, the publicity that the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA determines for the same purpose as that established in the preceding paragraph. In all cases the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA will include institutional advertising corresponding to your mission."

Art. 7o - Replace article 17 of Decree No. 2226 of 20 November 1985 with the following: "ARTICLE 17. - Offences to the provisions of this decree and supplementary resolutions of the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA shall be punished in accordance with article 20 of Decree No. 949 of 15 June 1992, without prejudice to articles 28 and 29 of the same rule."

Art. 8o - The provisions of this decree shall govern from the date provided by the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CINEMATOGRAFIA, who is expressly entitled to this.

Art. 9o - Until the entry into force of the system established by this decree shall govern the provisions of Decree No. 2226/85.

Art. 10. - Default articles 1o, 3o, 4o, 5o, 6o, 7o and 10 of Decree No. 2226/85.
