VISTO, proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
CONSIDERING:
That under the authorization granted by article 4 of Act No. 15,930, there are official bodies that keep their records reserved, for State reasons, for certain documentation linked to the actions of Nazi criminals.
That, having elapsed over a long time since such files were formed, the reasons that at the time advised the aforementioned reservation are considered to be disappeared.
It is convenient to disseminate the existence and content of the above-mentioned documentation, since it is the wish of the Argentine people to clarify the activities of Nazi criminals in our territory.
That, therefore, all files containing information related to Nazi criminals should be made available to the General Archive of the Nation.
That the present measure is determined in the exercise of the powers conferred by article 86, paragraph 1, of the National Constitution, and in accordance with the provisions of article 4 of Law No. 15,930.
Article 1 Leave without effect any reservation for "state reasons" of documentation related to Nazi criminals.
Art. 2o- Any agency of the National State that keeps its archives reserved for "state reasons", the documentation referred to in Article 1 shall make it available to the General Archive of the Nation in a period not exceeding TREINTA (30) days counted from the date of this decree.
