CULTO Decree 2614/90 Recognise the Epchy "San Charbel in Buenos Aires de los Maronitas"

VISTO note 910/90 submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs And CULTO por el Señor Nuncio Apostolic, por la que comunica que el Santo Padre JUAN PABLO II ha erigido una Epchy de rito maronita named "SAN CHARBEL EN BUENOS AIRES de los MARONITAs" and appointed as the first bishop of it with functions of Eparca, Monsignor Charbel Merhi, and

CONSIDERING

This is the erection of a personal jurisdiction and an institution of Bishop with functions of Eparca.

That in such cases, the decisions of the SANTA SEDE require the recognition of the State in order to be fulfilled in the territory of the Nation.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1. Recognise the Eparchy "SAN CHARBEL EN BUENOS AIRES DE LOS MARONITAS", erected by Pope JUAN PABLO II for the spiritual attention of the faithful of the Maronite rite established in the national territory. Art. 2° como Recognize as Eparca Maronita to Monsignor Charbel MERHI. Art. 3°. . Communicate, publish, give to the National Directorate of the Official Register and archvese. MENEM - July I.
