The reduction in the rate provided for in article 1 of Decree No. 88/89.

VISTO is proposed by the MINISTERY OF ECONOMY, and

CONSIDERING:

That by decree No. 88 of 26 January 1989, the agreement of article 23 of the Internal Revenue Act, which was ordered in 1979 and its amendments, was set to be reduced by DOS (2) points for the period from 1 February to 31 July of this year, both inclusive dates, in order to coordinate the policy of the tobacco sector in order to achieve a reasonable balance between the various activities that make up it.

In the present circumstances, it is advisable to maintain the commented reduction of the rate until 31 January 1990, inclusive.

The conditions provided for in article 86 of the Act are met.

Accordingly, it is appropriate to use the authority conferred by the said article.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1.- Protract until 31 January 1990, including the reduction of the liquor established in article 23 (a), (b) and (c) of the Internal Revenue Act, which was ordered in 1979 and its amendments, as provided for in article 1 of Decree No. 88 of 26 January 1989.
