VISTO Expediente No. 132-77-000018/87 P.F.A., through which the Argentine Federal Police promotes the modification of article 391 (a), (b), (c) and (d) of Decree No. 1,866 of 26 July 1983, which regulate the system by which the Supplement for "Variability of Housing" is liquidated, and

CONSIDERING:

That the staff of the Argentine Federal Police receive this bonus for the provision of services in the Delegations of that Institution located inside the country.

That the increase in the cost of living, in particular because of its incidence in the area of housing rentals, has been diminishing the purchasing power of this emolument, resulting in the aforementioned personnel affected in their family budget when confronting frankly adverse economic conditions.

That a principle of equity requires the readjustment of the Supplement for "Housing Variability", increasing the percentages on which its liquidation system is based.

That the Technical Advisory Commission on Public Sector Salarial Policy has taken action, with a favourable effect.

That this Decree is issued in the use of the power conferred by article 86, paragraph 1 of the National Constitution.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 Amend article 391 (a), (b), (c) and (d) of the Decree No. 1,866 dated 26 July 1983 , Regulation of the Law for the Staff of the Argentine Federal Police ,, which will be drafted as follows:

"Art. 391.

"a) Forty-eight percent (48 percent) for married or single staff with family charges, resident with person or dependants at the intended location;

"b) Seventy per cent (70 per cent) for those serving under the same conditions as subparagraph (a) in the jurisdiction of the Provinces of La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut and Santa Cruz;

"c) Thirty-two percent (32 percent) for married or single staff who, even having family charges, resides only at the duty station, and;

"d) Thirty-nine per cent (39 per cent) for married or single staff who, even having family charges, reside only in the duty station when it is located in the jurisdiction of the Provinces of La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut and Santa Cruz.

Art. 2o . Authorize Administrative Service 326 ArgentinaFederal Police Argentina. to make the corresponding liquidations using Partida 1110 "Personal Character", Program 012 of its respective budget. Art. 3o . Communicate, publish, give to the National Directorate of the Official Register and archvese.
