VISTO the decree that increases retirement and pension assets from 1 January 1985; and

CONSIDERING:

The remaining reasons for the issuance of Decree No. 885/84, which provided an exceptional monthly supplement to the provision and non-contributory benefits.

That, therefore, it is necessary to update the amount of such supplement in order to continue to give priority to the beneficiaries of lower resources.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 As of 1 January 1985, the supplement instituted by Decree No. 885/84 will be two thousand three hundred and seventy-two Argentine pesos ($a. 2,372) for the minimum retirements and pensions by the National Provident Funds and one thousand six hundred sixty Argentine pesos ($a. 1,660) for non-contributory benefits that do not exceed the minimum number of pensions and will be subject to the retention of the National Institute. Art. 2o When the benefit is less than the sum of the minimum for each benefit plus the supplement set out in the previous article, the difference between that amount and the current allowance shall be paid as a supplement from 1 January 1985. Art. 3o ∙ The amounts set out in the preceding articles shall also benefit from the benefits of participants who cease to operate from 31 December 1984. Art. 4o The Social Security Secretariat is empowered to dictate the interpretative and complementary norms of this decree.
