SECURITY FORCES Decree No. 2.499 No. 1239/83 reinstated the validity of its similar No. 54/76 for the staff of the Federal Prison Service.

VISTO the draft modification of the Regulations on Qualifications, Ascense and Removals of the Federal Prison Service staff, and

CONSIDERING:

That the amendments introduced by Decree No. 1.239 of 24 May 1983 have meant that a right granted by the Organic Law of the Federal Prison Service No. 20.416 has been waived.

On the other hand, it is convenient for the Service, that those who must be obligatoryly eliminated delegate their functions to those who are to continue in activity, with the greatest anticipation.

Therefore,

Article 1 Default of Decree No. 1.239 of 24 May 1983. Art. 2o... Re-establish the full force of Decree No. 54 of 10 January 1976. Art. 3o... The Higher Board of Qualifications and Board of Qualifications of the Sub-Alternate Personnel shall be convened by the national directorate for the purposes set out in article 101 (a) of Act No. 20.416, in accordance with article 76, subparagraphs (a) and (c) of the same legal body, for this only time, within ten (10) days of the signing of the present decree.
