I look at the Nros Laws. 18.037 (t. 1976) and 18.038 (t. 1980), and

CONSIDERING:

That according to the estimated variation in the overall level of remuneration produced in relation to the one taken into account in establishing the previous mobility, provided for by Decree No. 908/83, and as determined by articles 53 of Law No. 18,037 (t. 1976) and 39 of Law No. 18,038 (t.o. 1980), it is appropriate to increase from 1 May 1983 the assets of the taxation of the National Funds.

In accordance with article 76 of Act No. 18,037 (t. 1976), it is considered appropriate to establish a greater increase in benefits that have been established on the basis of the formulas of determination of the same provided for in existing provisions prior to 1 January 1969, and which fall under the rules of Resolution No. 726/78 of the former State Secretariat for Social Security.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 ∙ Increase by 12 per cent (12 per cent) the retirement and pension benefits provided by the National Provident Funds.

This increase will be 14 percent (14 %) in the case of the assets of the benefits that fit in the provisions of Resolution Nro. 726/78 of the former - Secretariat of State for Social Security.

The above-mentioned increases will be governed from 1 May 1983 and will be applied on the basis of 30 April 1983.

Exclude from the provisions of this article to the benefits agreed upon or to agree on the application of Law No. 18.464, its modifications and supplements.

Art. 2o ∙ Raise, as of 1 May 1983, the minimum monthly assets of the agreed benefits or the agreement of the National Provident Funds to the following amounts:

Retirements, except for the advance for the woman eager.	$7,840,000
Pension and early retirement for women	$6,950,000

Art. 3o As of 1 May 1983, the maximum number of retirements, including the mobility established by articles 53 of Law No. 18.037 (t. 1976) and 39 of Law No. 18.038 (t. 1980), will be forty million five hundred and eighty-five thousand three hundred and thirty-five pesos ($40,585,335) per month. Art. 4o . Note from 1 May 1983 in the sum of four million eight hundred sixty-five thousand pesos ($ 4.865,000) per month, the minimum of ex gratia pensions and other non-contributory benefits and the existence of old-age and disability pensions, which are subject to article 8 of Law No. 18,820. Art. 5o ∙ The correction rate referred to in article 53 of Act No. 18,037 (t. 1976) should be 1.5130 to be applied for the determination of retirements for participants who cease their activity from 30 April 1983. The final result of the application of the procedure established by article 49 of Act No. 18,037 (t. 1976) for the determination of benefits shall be added to the sum of two million five hundred sixty-three thousand three hundred thirty-seven pesos ($ 2,563,337). Art. 6th The supplement referred to in article 7 of Decree No. 595 of 24 March 1982, which corresponds to 30 April 1983, will be increased by the percentages set out in article 1 as the case may be, considering that increase as a pension or pension, as appropriate. Relevant liquidations and transfers shall be made subject to the rules of this article, in the manner determined by article 9 of Decree No. 1,500, September 30, 1981. Art. 7o The Under-Secretary for Social Security is empowered to dictate the interpretative and complementary norms of this decree.
