VISTO Law No. 22.707 and Decree No. 1.025 of 5 May 1983; and

CONSIDERING:

That in compliance with these legal texts from 1 June 1983 will govern a new "Argentine currency" unit ($a);

That in financial entities attentive the specific role they develop within the community, having to adjust their records and internal organizations in the period between the closure of operations of the month of May 1983 and the first day of attention to the public that is opposed to the new monetary sign;

In order to ensure the normal implementation of these tasks, it is appropriate to adopt measures to ensure that change occurs with the minor inconveniences for those institutions and the public that is opposed to the new monetary sign;

In order to ensure the normal implementation of these tasks, it is appropriate to adopt measures to ensure that change occurs with the minor disadvantages of those institutions and the public operating with them;

Within these purposes, it is appropriate to declare public service fair in the financial entities governed by Act No. 21.526 on 31 May and 1 June;

That in anticipation that the circumstances would make it advisable to extend the days of public service holidays, the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic could also be empowered to extend that measure in days after it was understood thus indispensable for the implementation of Law No. 22.707;

That this decision of government has been requested by the financial entities themselves and supported by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic;

Therefore;

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RESUELVE:

Article 1 Artículo Determined throughout the territory of the Nation for the purpose of public attention in the financial entities governed by the law 21.526, on 31 May and 1 June 1983 and those days of the last month quoted that the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic considered necessary in order to facilitate the resolution of the situations arising under the law 22.707.
