WORK Update the amounts of the fines set out in Articles 3, 5 and 9 of Law No. 18,694 and Article 11 of Law No. 18,695. DECEMBER 317

VISTO is established by article 9o bis of Law No. 18,694, as amended by the Laws No. 20.555, 20.556 and 22.052 and article 11 of Act No. 18,695, as amended by Law No. 20.554, 20.555 and 22.052.

CONSIDERING:

That the Ministry of Labour of the Nation requests the updating of the amounts of the fines set out in articles 3, 5 and 9 of Act No. 18,694, and article 11 of Act No. 18,695, with the aforementioned amendments.

On the other hand, it is not considered appropriate to modify the amounts of the fines provided for in article 4 of Law No. 18,694, since these are still proportionate to the corresponding economic reality, especially for referring to offences that generally take a collective character in their consequent increase in the total amount to be paid by the employer.

This also leads not to update the minimum amount of the scale of the conversion of the fine to arrest, provided for in article 9 of Law No. 18,694, while maintaining flexibility in accordance with the amounts of the fines liable to that conversion, if any.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 The amounts of the fines set out in article 3 of Law No. 18,694, as amended by Law No. 20.555, 20.556 and 22.052, in sums that will range from weights seventy-five thousand ($ 75,000) to weights seven hundred and sixty thousand ($ 760.000).

Art. 2o ∙ Update the amounts of the fines established by section 5 of Act No. 18,694, as amended by Law No. 20.555, 20.556 and 22.052, in sums that will oscillate of pesos one hundred and fifty thousand ($ 150,000) to pesos seven million six hundred thousand ($ 7.600,000).

Art. 3o ∙ Update the scale of the conversion to arrest provided for in article 9 of Law No. 18,694, as amended by Law No. 20.555, 20.556 and 22.052, the one who will graduate for weights twenty thousand ($ 20,000) to weights three hundred and eighty thousand ($ 380.000) of fine for each day of arrest.

Art. 4o ∙ Update the amount of the inapplicable fine determined by the last paragraph of article 11 of Law No. 18,695, as amended by Law No. 20.554, 20.555 and 22.052, in the sum of five hundred and fifty thousand pesos ($ 550.000).

Art. 5o Communicate, publish, give to the National Bureau of the Official Register and archvese.
