DECREASE ANNEX No. 642

Precise as "Small porte aircraft" those whose maximum weight of takeoff does not exceed 5,700 kilograms.

Bs. As., 11/3/75

VISTO the need to generally determine in the aerocommercial order the scope of the expressions "lower aircraft" contained in Article 102 of Decree-Law No. 17.285/67, and "great mediums" referred to in Article 20 of Decree-Law No. 19.030/71, and

CONSIDERING:

By Decree-Law No. 17.285/67, Decree-Law No. 1.256/57 was repealed and therefore Decree-Law No. No. 9,887/60, which required as small aircraft to those whose maximum weight per aircraft certificate was not exceeding three thousand five hundred (3,500) kilograms;

That since then, in some cases the aerocommercial documentation referred to that limit has been maintained, in others there is no mention of the particular and in the last decrees was mentioned the one of five thousand seven hundred (5,700) kilograms in conjunction with the order established for the technical aspects by the International Civil Aviation Organization (O.A.C.I.);

That no references have been specified for "great mediums";

That the state of indetermination originated by all this poses inconvenient situations that affect the orbit of the Ministry of Economy, which is imposterable to overcome;

The urgent need to specify definitions from the respective study is currently taking into account the above-mentioned international limitations also for the exploitation of air services;

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION
