VISTO Law 20.004, and

CONSIDERING:

That the aforementioned Act empowered the Executive Branch to order the laws, without introducing any amendments to it, except the grammatical ones necessary for the new ordination.

That the same reasons for the enactment of Act No. 20.004 are applicable to the statutory decrees of the laws to be ordered.

That by the legal technical nature of the task of ordering laws and decrees, and in view of the competence that Law 18.416 and its amendments assign to the Ministry of Justice, it is up to the Ministry of Justice to understand this task.

That automated processing of legal information constitutes one of the applications of the forecast contained in National Policy number 128.

In order to introduce the automated treatment of the legal information contained in laws and decrees, a previous stage of order is necessary.

It was essential to avoid the waste of valuable resources, and it was therefore appropriate for the Ministry of Justice to maintain direct and ongoing contacts with other public bodies concerned with projects relating to the automated treatment of legal information.

Therefore,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE ARGENTINA NATION

RIGHT:

Article 1 — The Ministry of Justice will understand:

(a) In the exercise of the power vested in the executive branch by law 20.004;

(b) In the order of statutory decrees.

In order to comply with the above-mentioned tasks, the Ministry shall coordinate its action with the other concerned public bodies, which shall provide them with the cooperation required by the Ministry.

Art. 2o — For the purposes of this decree, the Ministry of Justice will maintain direct and permanent contacts with the public bodies concerned with projects relating to the automated treatment of legal information.
