VISTO, by Decree 501 of 9 August 1973, provided that the National Grain Board will be the only purchaser of the available balances of wheat bread of the harvest 1972/73, and

CONSIDERING:

The initiation of the wheat harvest of the agricultural year 1973/74 in some sectors of the northern part of the country is near.

That in this way a commitment made by the current authorities is fulfilled in order to update prices immediately before the marketing process begins.

That, therefore, it is necessary to adjust the required minimum prices in a timely manner for this product, adapting them to the variations that have been operated since in the prices of the necessary inputs for its production.

That such a measure, in addition to being fully compatible with one of the basic forecasts contemplated in the programmatic scheme drawn by the Government for the agricultural sector, has been anticipated in Decree 1066 of 8 September of the current year that set prices for the grains of the so-called coarse harvest, one of whose considerations expressed, in an orientative way, the minimum value for the case of the cereal in question.

On the other hand, because of the extent to which the harvest referred to could be achieved and in order to protect the national interest involved in the field, it is advisable to adopt a regime similar to that of Decree No. 501/73.

Therefore, attentive to the provisions of article 9 (t) of Decree-Law 6698/63, and the proposal of the Minister of Economy,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE HONORABLE CAMARA OF NATION DYPUTIES IN THE EXECUTIVE POWER

RIGHT:

Article 1 . From the date of the present decree, the National State through the National Board of Grains will be the only bread acquirer of the harvest 1973/74.

Art. 2o La The National Board of Grains will acquire the bread wheat at the following prices on wagon/camion Puerto Buenos Aires: Trigo Duro, grade No. 1, Base 80 (80) kilograms of Hectolitric weight, sixty-seven pesos ($ 67).

Trigo Semiduro, Grade 1, Base 80 (80) kilograms of hectolytric weight, sixty-five pesos ($ 65).

Art. 3o La The National Grain Board will be able to set the correlative prices, by operations agreed by other ports, railway stations and other places of receipt of the country.

Art. 4o . Prohibit the discount of administration costs and no bonus, deduction or reduction may be made, which is not authorized by the National Grain Board.

Art. 5o La The National Grain Board shall acquire the respective products, at the prices set out in this decree, in accordance with the regulations that it dictates and deducts or acknowledging the expenses set therein.

Art. 6th La The National Grain Board shall regulate the conditions of application of this decree.

Art. 7o El The Ministry of Economics will arbitrate the financing mechanism that requires the purchases provided for in this decree.

Art. 8o . Offences to this decree and its regulations shall be liable to the penalties set out in Decree Law 6698/63.

Art. 9th . Any other provision opposing this decree is repealed.
