Agency to exercise authority over agreed adherence to food.

VISTO Act No. 17.156, amended by Act No. 19,759, which provided for the accession "Convention on the Recruitment of Food by the United Nations Conference on the Requirement of Food in the City of New York from 29 May to 20 June 1956, and

CONSIDERING:

That, in accordance with article 2 of the aforementioned Convention, the Argentine Republic shall designate at the time of depositing the instrument of accession, the agencies that shall exercise in its territory the functions of the Remittent Authority and of Intermediary Institution.

That also, in line with article 11 (Clausula Relating to Federal States), it is appropriate to establish the national authority to be communicated with the competent authorities of the Provinces.

That adherence to the Convention of Reference coincides with the principles that encourage National Policy No. 142.

RIGHT:

Article 1 - Please refer to the Ministry of Justice as an agency that will perform the functions of the Remittent Authority and Intermediate Institution for the purposes of Article 2 of the "Convention on the Obtaining of Food Abroad", which was authorized by Law No. 17.739.

Art. 2° - The Ministry of Justice, through the Ministry of the Interior, shall make communications to the provincial governments in order for them to designate similar bodies, establishing rules of implementation of the functions in a timely manner.
