VISTO: Article 3, paragraphs 7, 8, 16 and 17 of Act No. 17.271;

The Recommendations of International Meetings on Nursing Education, the Final Report of the Official Nursing Meeting from 25 September to 1 October 1966 and the Report of the Fourth Argentine Congress of Nursing from 22 to 28 October 1967; and

CONSIDERING:

That, the teaching of the infirmary must be founded in a spiritualistic conception of man as a person, with a transcendent destiny and in function of service, a natural member of the family, national and international nuclei, possessing a spiritual heritage rooted in the Argentine tradition;

That, the teaching of the infirmary, constitutes an articulated modality within the educational service;

That it is advantageous for the effectiveness of the educational service that the institutions providing it and their governing bodies operate within the jurisdiction of the Ministry and Secretariat of State, responsible for establishing and implementing the educational policy;

For this reason, and attentive to the advice of the Secretary of State for Culture and Education and Public Health,

RIGHT:

Article 1 - The teaching of the infirmary, non-university, shall be directed to the integral training of the students and their professional training. It will be taught at two levels: "Professional" and "Auxiliar".

Art. 2nd - Be sensitive to a) "Professional nurse": The person who has completed a specific training program, officially recognized in obtaining his or her graduation and is trained to exercise, as a collaborator of the doctor, activities related to the promotion of health, the prevention of disease and the care of the sick. B) "Infirmary Helper": The person who has completed a specific training program, officially recognized in obtaining their graduation and is trained to collaborate in the care of the sick, the promotion of health and the prevention of the disease, under the supervision of professional or medical nurses.

Article 3 - The teaching of the infirmary shall be imparted by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Culture and Education, by provincial, municipal or private bodies.

Provincial or municipal establishments, for the purpose of the national validity of the titles, shall be in accordance with the rules set out in the regulation. Private entities shall, for the same purpose, manage their registration in the State Secretariat for Culture and Education and comply with the requirements for the incorporation of private institutes into official education.

Article 4 - The State Secretariat for Culture and Education, through its specific agencies and with the intervention of the State Secretariat for Public Health, shall establish the Minimum Curriculum and the rules for the operation and supervision of official and private establishments that issue nationally valid titles.

Article 5 - The contribution of the State to the support of the Institutes Incorporated shall be conditioned on the national interest, in accordance with the current regulations.

Article 6 - The Ministry of Culture and Education shall apply the penalties for institutes that do not comply with the conditions required for their operation.

Article 7 - The State Secretariat for Culture and Education, with the intervention of the State Secretariat for Public Health, shall determine the conditions required for the validation of studies carried out in unrecognized bodies.

Art. 8 - The establishments for the teaching of the nursing whose creation and operation had not been authorized, in accordance with this decree, may not use denominations, or issue diplomas, degrees and certificates, which must be reserved to recognised official and private entities. The violation of this rule shall be punished in the manner prescribed by the regulation.

Article 9 - This decree shall be endorsed by the Ministers of the Interior and Social Welfare and signed by the Secretaries of State of Culture and Education and Public Health.

Art. 10. - Communicate, publish, give to the National Directorate of the Official Register and archvese.
