GAS. - Please clarify the rates for the provision of State Gas services

Bs. As. 3/3/67.

VISTO is proposed by the Secretary of State for Energy and Mining at the request of Gas of the State requesting the partial modification of the current tariff system for the provision of services to its office, and

CONSIDERING:

That the proposed modifications originate from the increases produced in the different fields of exploitation;

Such a readjustment contemplates the purposes of covering the costs of exploitation and ensuring the continuity of the minimum plan of works envisaged for the efficiency and security of the public services by Gas del Estado, for which it is necessary to provide it with the financial means for the realization of the property investment programmes that it is responsible for:

That in terms of large consumptions it is not appropriate to modify the tariff scales per unit over surplus of the lower limit, in order to maintain the relationship with the prices authorized for other fuels for the purpose of observing the proper balance in the market;

That is why and attentive to the proposals of the Secretary of State for Energy and Mining.

Decrete:

Article 1 - Replace articles 1, 2, 5 and 6 of Decree No. 1851 of 19 September 1956 with the following:
"Article 1 - Stay for natural gas services by state gas networks the following rates:

I- Locations north of the Colorado River, except the Provinces of Mendoza and Salta: Thirteen pesos with eighty cents national currency (m$n 18.80) the unit of 9,300 calories for all consumptions of up to two hundred (200) units/day.

II- Provinces of Mendoza and Salta: Ten pesos with ninety cents national currency ($ 10.90 m$n), the unit of 9,300 calories for all consumptions of up to two hundred (200) units/day.

III-

(a) Locations south of the Colorado River, except Cutral-Có, Comodoro Rivadavia and Rio Grande: Eight pesos with twenty-five cents national currency (8.25 m$n) the unit of 9,300 calories.
The consumptions that exceed the base of five hundred (500) units/day average of 9,300 calories will be billed at the price of eight pesos with twenty-five cents national currency (m$n 8.25) up to that basic amount and the amount of five pesos with fifteen national currency (m$n 5.15) each unit file.

(b) Comodoro Rivadavia and Rio Grande Five pesos with fifteen cents national currency (m$n 5.15) the unit of 9,300 calories.

(c) Cutral-Có: Four pesos with twenty cents national currency (m$n 4.20) the unit of 9,300 calories.
This last rate will apply to current consumers as well as to those who in the future join the service provided that their consumptions are not intended for commercial and/or industrial activities.
Consumers of a commercial and/or industrial nature who have been incorporated in accordance with Article 2, paragraph III, of Decree No. 6.152/60 shall pay the rates specified by Article 2 of this Decree.

Article 2° - Note in five pesos with fifteen cents national currency (m$n 5.15) the unit rate of 9,300 calories for new consumers who are incorporated into service in the locality of Cutral-Co whose consumptions are intended for commercial and/or industrial activities.

Article 5° - Please note for the whole country the rate of seventeen pesos with eighty cents national currency (m$n 17.80) per unit of 9,300 calories for propane or butane gas, indiluted distributed by networks any other than the type of consumption for which it is intended.

Article 6 - Note the rate of thirty-three pesos with sixty cents national currency (m$ 33.62) the kilogram for liquefied gas services distributed in units by State Gas".

Art. 2° - Maintain the validity of the plans annexed to the Decree No. 1,851/66 numbers 1 and 2 would be determined according to the modification of the values set out in Article 1 for consumptions of up to two hundred (20) units/day.

Art. 3° - Please note that the modifications set forth above will govern from the billing issued to paritr on 28 February this year.

Art. 4° - This decree will be endorsed by the Minister of Economy and Labour and signed by the Secretary of State for Energy and Mining.

Art. 5° - Communicate, submit to the National Directorate of the Official Register and archvese.
