FEDERAL LEY ORGANICA POLICY.- Modify Art. 685 of the Rules of the Organic Law.

Ace. 3/10/66VISTO Expediente letra I, No. 10.006/1966, by which the Federal Police proposes the amendment of article 685 of the Rules of the Organic Law of the Federal Police approved by Decree 6.580/58, and CONSIDERING: That between the missions that fall within the competence of the Directorate for Social Work and Police Health of the said Institution, is to promote the moral and material well-being of the staff and their respective family members;
That in the event of the death of an affiliate, the Directorate is assisted by its right-holders with a allowance for the costs of sepellium, with a minimum and maximum amount to be paid for;
That these caps are outdated with the real costs of funeral services, which is why they need to be adjusted to those currently in force;
That the increase in such aid will not matter economic damages to the Institution, nor will it affect the national budget, since the greatest erogations involved will be absorbed with funds of the Directorate Social Work and Police Health;
That for the purpose of providing greater agility to the periodic updating of these minimum and maximum ceilings, it is appropriate to delegate to the Chief of the Federal Police the power to increase them, as required and permitted by the means;
Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of the Directorate-General for Legal Affairs of the Ministry of the Interior,

Decrete:Article 1- Amend the Rules of the Organic Law of the Federal Police, approved by Decree No. 6.580/58, in article 685, which shall be drafted as follows: "Article 685.- In none of the cases provided for in the preceding two articles, aid for sepellium costs may be lower, or exceed, the minimum and maximum caps to be determined by the Chief of the Federal Police, who may increase them as required and enable the means. " Art. 2o - This decree shall be endorsed by the Minister Secretary in the Department of the Interior.
