ELECTRIC SERVICES OF THE GREAT AIRES

Decree No. 564/1964

Ratify the resolution that rejects a new tariff table.

Bs. As., 24/1/64.


VISTO the appeal submitted by Electrical Services of the Greater Buenos Aires, Sociedad Anónima (SEGBA), regarding Resolution No. 46/63 of the Secretariat of State of Energy and Fuels, which rejects the tariff table proposed by the latter for the year 1964, and

CONSIDERING:

That the studies carried out by the aforementioned State Secretariat show that it is not necessary to increase the electricity rates so that the Electrical Services Company of the Greater Buenos Aires, Sociedad Anónima (SEGBA) can fully meet for the purposes of its constitution, since the respective report is fully justified the Resolution of the Secretary of State for Energy and Fuels No. 46/63 by which the rate was not increased;


That the adoption by the year 1964 of the average rate in 1963 will provide all the necessary resources to meet the operating expenses, allowing also to have sufficient funds to meet the obligations to be met by Electrical Services of the Great Buenos Aires, Soc. Anonymous (SEGBA), in all matters relating to financial services and projected expansion works;


That it is the purpose of the Executive Power to maintain the exploitation of Electrical Services of the Greater Buenos Aires, Sociedad Anónima (SEGBA) in terms that do not affect their financing possibilities and that as a result of the studies, analysis and conclusions that the report that accompanies this decree gives account, these purposes may be fulfilled according to the established technical, economic and financial forecasts;


Therefore,

The President of the Argentine Nation,

Decrete:

Article 1 - Ratify the Resolution of the Secretariat of State of Energy and Fuels No. 46/63, which rejects the tariff table proposed by Electrical Services of the Greater Buenos Aires, S. A., for its application during the year 1964.

Art. 2nd - This decree will be endorsed by the Minister Secretary in the Department of Economics and signed by the Secretary of State for Energy and Fuels.

Art. 3° - Communicate, publish, give to the General Directorate of the Official Gazette and Prints and archvese.
