THE SECRETARIAT OF NATIONAL DEFENSA DECRETO No. 313

Buenos Aires, 13/1/56.

VIEW: the need to provisionally establish the organizational situation of the National Defence Secretariat and its dependent agencies:

The Interim President of the Argentine Nation, Decreta:

Article 1 Sustain the validity of the Decree No. 13.378/58 (General Basic Law No. 14.303), Chapter II (Executive Branch Secretariats) Section I, in everything related to the National Defence Secretariat, and section IV thereof.

Art. 2o Displace the following bodies of the National Defence Secretariat:

(a) Under-Secretary of National Defence;

(b) General Secretariat for National Defence;

(c) Liaison Division with the People ' s Organizations of the National Defence Secretariat;

(d) National Defence Law Institute.

Art. 3o ∙ All other bodies currently in the National Defence Secretariat are relied upon by the Coordination Staff.

Art. 4o ∙ To integrate the assets of the General Staff of Coordination all the movable and immovable property of the Ministry of National Defence and of the bodies dissolved by Article 2 of this Decree, as well as all its staff and any credits assigned by any nature.

Art. 5o The Coordination Staff shall undertake a review of the restructuring or substitution of the Ministry of National Defence in order to meet the requirements of Law 13.234.

The conclusions on the matter shall be submitted to the National Defence Council for approval within ninety days of the date of this decree.

Art. 6th The Major Coordination Staff in the meantime will assume the missions assigned to the Ministry of Defence by the National Decrees. 12.171/54, 13.378/54 and 4.901/55, except with regard to the power to convene the Ministers of Executive Power.

Art. 7o The Chief of the General Staff for Coordination shall have the administrative powers that Decree No. 721/55 agree with the Secretariats of the Executive Branch, in accordance with Act No. 12,961 and its Rules of Procedure.

Art. 8o The General Staff of Coordination shall depend directly on the President of the Nation until the conclusions of the study ordered by Article 5 of this Decree are adopted.

Art. 9th 1 January 1956 as the date of the measures adopted by this decree.

Art. 10 The present Decree shall be endorsed by the Ministers Secretary of State of Army, Navy and Aeronautics.

Art. 11 Communicate, give to the Directorate General of the National Register, publish in the Public Bulletins of the Army, Navy and Aeronautics, and arch yourself in the General Staff of Coordination.
