THE INCLUSION OF MINERALS IN THE CODIGO OF MINERIA Decree No. 2.638/1951 Bs. As., 13/2/51
VISTO the present file of the Ministry of Commerce of the Nation number 201,502/47, which gives an account of the information reported by the Department of State, and
CONSIDERING:
That permutant or permulticultural zeolites or minerals have vast applications such as absorbents, softeners and water purifiers, both in domestic and industrial uses;
That in the country the existence of these minerals is known, whose exploitation is to encourage the importance they have for the use of the water resources of the Nation;
That permutative minerals have not been classified by the Mining Code, which does not preclude the National Executive Power to do so temporarily, taking into account the interpretation arising from Article 6 of that legal body;
For this reason, and attentive to the proposal of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Nation,
The President of the Argentine Nation,
Decrete:
Article 1 -
Include among the substances of the Second category Article 4°, paragraph 6 of the Mining Code, zeolites or minerals or permutants or permutites. Art. 2° -
Give timely account to the Honorable Congress of the Nation. Art. 3° -
Contact, publish, give to the National Directorate and, for its purposes, return to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Nation. PERON
